Seriously, even though there were some terrible parts of both the sixth and seventh Harry Potter books, I STILL think that they kick Twilight's ass in every way possible.
Sorry, but Twilight REALLY isn't a very good series. The characters are terrible. Bella's a whiny little idiot and Edward's an absolute Gary-Stu. Even the 'romance' is so incredibly boring I nearly DIED while reading the majority of the first book. Sorry.
I will say this, though, I enjoyed the second one far more. >>
Also, I kind of feel like a hypocrite for writing this reply, as I've been watching Edward and Jacob caramelldansen for at LEAST a half hour, just because I'm too lazy to close the tab. ...And also because I genuinely DO like Jacob as a character. >> <<
