I think this is bullshit. It's not hypocritical to feel sorry for someone when you find out something bad happened to them. I do feel sorry for - what I don't feel is that she should be EXCUSED for her bad actions because of what happened to her.
Also, Too Big #4: Sam and Dean have only ever saved peopled when they deserved it. They didn't save the writer in Hollywood Babylon, they didn't save the preacher's wife in Faith - they don't save people who are doing bad things. YET, they already saved Bela once in Red Sky after which she sent Gordon AND Hendrickson after them. AND I totally believe Dean when he said if she'd just come to them and asked for their help, they would have helped her. Look they did MORE THAN ENOUGH for this chick.
