My apologies -- the last week of American Idol, the Cook fans vs. Archuleta fans showed their true colors, and it was like a mini-war on some of the message boards. I didn't necessarily think you were a fan of Archuleta just because you're a hater of Cook, but I was just trying to make a point that there are much more annoying fans out there. I do understand that Cook fangirls can get carried away with their squee, but it's only to be expected. I think the way that other fanbases carried themselves was far more off-putting than a couple of over-excited LJ posts.

It's not to disregard your comment or start an argument in anyway, but I feel as a Cook fan, I've gotta defend my group a little bit. The fangirling we did is about a fraction of how some other fanbases, not even just Archuleta's, handled themselves.
