YES. It's not the quality of artwork really. Because that's subjective. Everyone judges art differently. But if YOU, THE CREATOR are not proud of what you've done, it's ridiculous to expect other people to like it too.

I think it's just a bad habit alot of nervous artists/writers have. I'm not sure they realize how it sounds when they say it all the time.
