Word. I don't like action movies, sci-fi, adaptations from comic books or superhero stories. . . yet I loved Iron Man so effing hard I'm still reeling from the force of its awesome. I can't imagine even the most die-hard/snobby/image-hungry critic saying that Iron Man was crap, especially compared to a movie about a guy who . . . drives really fast.

(Having said that, the "Press the button!" "You'll die!" nonsense at the end of Iron Man was PAINFULLY Sailor Moon-esque. "Don't use the silver crystal, Iron Man!" Blah.)
