I went back and read that secret just now and while I agree with them, I kinda don't. One of the things that I've always loved about the interwebs is that lots of different people of different ages get together and enjoy the things they have in common. I don't think that you need to leave fandom once you get to a certain age, etc... I think that anyone who spends all of their time doing fandom stuff, however, has a bit of a screw loose. Either that, or they have no life outside of the internet.

And yeah, I wish there were more people with my mindset in fandom as well -- unfortunately, I don't think that's ever going to happen. I try to preach the sanity as much as I can, but I'm not sure it's particularly effective D:
