When I first heard about Veela-fic, my response was "but male veela are hideous, right? Seeing this made me wonder if trans veela Draco is a thing that exists. Probably.

I don't like those fics and I almost never fantasize about my favorite characters sexually except with each other, not with me.

In my case it's not that I'm asexual, it's that I have such a hard time picturing anyone being attracted to me.

If I fantasize about anyone I have to think of some reason they are really desperate.

(Yeah, I know I sound pathetic and stupid.)

Stiles has shown he can be caring and nurturing.He was the one to help Scott get control of his powers. He takes care of his dad (possibly where a lot of the mothering comes from). He saved Derek's life multiple times. He puts himself in between people and monsters all the time.

I have a vague memory of seeing veela Draco mpreg. I think there were even some fanon ideas about how veela mate, though I may be thinking of werewolves.

A really pretentious BNF. She was a good writer but had a really inflated opinion of herself and treated her own fics like they were works of literature and published annotated commentaries about them. It was more eyeroll worthy than anything else, though.

He's also a character in the Teen Wolf universe with a vested interest in certain supernatural creatures and, last I knew, correct me if I'm wrong, keeping that knowledge from the general public, like say the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

He could specialize in intelligence gathering, sure. He'd be good at that. I still don't like the choice for the character. Stiles as a high ranking FBI agent would be perfect, but you don't enter the Bureau as the highest up, and Stiles has a marked disdain and genuine issues with authority. I don't see that working well for him to climb up the ladder, even though to do so would be a boon for his vested interest in the protection and conservation of his preferred members of the supernatural creature community. That way he could sway investigations away from them. But again, as this secret points out, Stiles is an abrasive jackass, and that's not a secret. Many of the characters in-universe react to Stiles as the abrasive jackass he is and he doesn't always work well with others because of it.

TL;DR: If you think it's IC and fits, and you like it. Good. I'm glad for you. I don't. I also have the impression that it was largely inspired by fanfic and fandom at large where law enforcement Stiles is fairly common. That's not how I see the character and I don't like it.

#1. Dude who constantly spammed the tag pretending to be an expert in the show. Presented all his headcanons as facts. Pretended that he had an 'in' with the people in charge and that's how he knew they were real facts. Constantly reblogged anyone else's speculation telling them why they were wrong and only his speculation was right.

When he did get things wrong he played it off as deliberate misinformation to keep fans on their toes otherwise his ins with the studio wouldn't keep telling him the right information. Sometimes he would reblog and encourage his followers to harass people for having the wrong headcanon until the person deleted their post, then a few months later he'd copy and paste the headcanon and claim it was his own.

And worst of all people ate it up without question.

I left that fandom a long time ago and I still think the guy's a douche.

2. Lazy lady who was con-staff and almost never lifted a finger except to take credit for other people's work. Except one time she sabotaged registration by using her staff access to get into the locked room overnight and move all the stuff to her hotel room. Then the next morning when everyone was panicking and scrambling because we were 110% screwed, she suddenly remembers that she innocently came across the unlocked reg room the night before and was worried about that being a safety issue so instead of locking the door like a sane human being she got luggage carts and hauled all the computers and other stuff to her room to keep it safe.

And the worst thing was that the con chairs believed her and praised her for saving the day. A good chunk of the staff resigned over that and a couple years later the con went under. I was a Senior Volunteer, not quite staff but with a front row seat for all the drama.

AND IT IS HORRIBLE.

Who thought putting the actors' name like that was a good idea?

Grudgingly. He has grudgingly done things to keep Derek from dying and at least one of the was about convenience for himself. The only time I can think of where we've seen Stiles express any unselfish humanity toward Derek was after Boyd.

But most of the time when it comes to supernaturals who aren't Scott or Lydia and to a lesser extent Liam and Cora his response always begins with "why not just kill them?"

If it weren't for Scott, Stiles would fit right in with a hunting party. And now I kind of want that fic.

I still love Pokemon. But I've also checked out other things along the way, and met people in those fandoms. (Or at least back in the LiveJournal days I met people.)

What do you imagine his career to be? A criminal of some sort?

Cause men were the biggest audience of Teen Wolf and almost certainly the gender of the people in these comments?

Also "women shouldn't be pigeonholed into being caretakers" sounds like exactly what above anon is saying but in reverse - caretaking roles shouldn't be assigned default female

I'd either remove my arachnophobia, because it's frankly annoying as shit to deal with.

Or I'd give myself an actual functioning sleeping pattern that doesn't revert to a nocturnal cycle when I don't have to get up early every day.
