Good point; you're right, I accidentally misinterpreted. And that's also valid; lurk vs communicating can be a weird thing to decide, since there's the argument "I'm too shy to comment." But there's that pocket where it's rather like the myspace phenomenon: more "friends" listed apparently means something, rather than someone you've actually connected with or even for a specific moment/fandom. Even when I leave fandoms I still keep tabs because I met them being interested in who they are than a bulk number.
