102. Unconditional love, what? I took the ending as being an extension of the 'trust your partner' motto they kept running throughout the game. That is to say, 'trust your partner even if he turns out to be a glowy, omnipotent being who's been lying and manipulating you all along. Not because he's a glowy, omnipotent being, but because he's your partner.' That could totally be me extrapolating, though! But I'm not sure that I see where the 'fealty' bit comes in.
