I'm not sure that answers my question. I don't mean the music, even though I've got so many good and bad memories attached to that band. I mean, to me the man is a kind of a dick but I've got my own personal reasons for feeling that way. But all that aside, what does he, as a person have to offer that is worth admiring? Music has gotten me through a lot of stuff I guess, but I don't admire any of the bands or musicians for making that music.

Ahaha, I feel it's hard for me to get my feelings across clearly without coming off sounding like a bitch. It's great if you feel you were saved because of a band or a song, I'm not debating that, but I feel if anything~ saved me I did it all by myself, and the songs are just songs.
