I dont know if the OP of 129 will see this. But I wanted to say, I know what you mean but I think the few female characters pixar has had have been very cool IMHO. like eve in WALL E and the Mom and daughter in the Incredibles. and Jesse in Toy story 2. that being said you shall get your wish for a female protagonist in a pixar film in 2011, barring any changes from now to then. Apparently pixar/disney is coming out with a film called "the bear and the bow" and protagonist will be a woman named Merida. So yay! :D
