112. Unlike the OP, I don't know that I'd prefer a female L, but I certainly think it would be interesting. My question is, if L were female, but Near and Mello were still guys, would Light still have gotten pissed at Near at the end? Since he's such a misogynist.
160. I like the Boondocks, and I'm white as a piece of paper, but I can see why people of any ethnic background wouldn't. It's crude, it goes for shock value too much, often to the point of sacrificing character, and it's more heavyhanded than a Sonic Says skit. It's real redeeming value is that Huey and Jasmine are wonderful characters, and even most of the stereotypical characters are treated with sympathy or at least depth. Not that anyone notices behind Ruckus, and Ed and Gin.
