Dear #12, you ain't a lone, I love this series!

[identity profile] autophobia.livejournal.com 2007-02-27 11:50 pm (UTC)(link)
6. Seriously agreeing with this one. ♥ I've had that problem for a long while, but, it's a thing you cope with. Probably will get worse when I get older, though. Ahaha.

7. Kino is my absolute goddess. She's my favorite female anime character of all time. Whoever posted this secret? THANK YOU for showing some light on this awesome series... even if you did sort of spoil the beginning portion. Heh.

1. Roxas looks SO CUTE when he's happy!

11. OMG. I AM SO GOING TO DO THAT NOW.

[identity profile] boooon.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
1. I'm so impartial to the pairing now. :\ But I'm honestly happy for them. But it doesn't matter in the long run, because LOL Roxas still leaves. Roxas/curiosity about keyblade, OTP?

3. YES.

8. I hope it's tasty delicious :\

13. Thank you for making the point about the Sector 7 thing. I mean god.

[identity profile] boooon.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 12:09 am (UTC)(link)
And 6 didn't load at first but fuck yes do I agree :\

[identity profile] fairyfey.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 12:19 am (UTC)(link)
5. I used to be able to do a perfect Naga laugh. XD Don't think I can anymore though.

6. I was trying to explain that a week ago to a good friend of mine. I'm pretty sure he still doesn't understand.

[identity profile] snarky-kat.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 12:29 am (UTC)(link)
6. I'm there with you. People who've never taken online-life seriously just don't understand that some of us are capable of making lasting friendships without weekend trips to the mall. I find my internet friendships more real because the lack of face-to-face judgement brings people together who never would have had contact in the first place.

12. Oh gods yes this drives me insane. They were NOT comic relief in the original. They were the BAD GUYS. Freaking fangirls. I don't ship them, but the character degregation drives me up the wall.

11

[identity profile] donkey.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 12:33 am (UTC)(link)
I MUST DO THIS.

[identity profile] anigirl15.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 12:39 am (UTC)(link)
1. ... d'aww :3 *saves* (and I agree with you. Sorta. OK, I don't hate the pairing, but I don't like it either.)

7. Kino was the first female character I admitted to having a crush on. STFU I know she's like 12. She is just that amazing.

[identity profile] levikitty.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 12:54 am (UTC)(link)
1. I agree. I hate that pairing more than any other pairing in this fandom, but I want to see those scenes. Now.

8. Looks like someone needs to buy one of those potions from Japan. XD

[identity profile] lostremnant.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
6. People who don't have online friends simply don't understand people who do.

9. I don't talk to people irl about my fanfiction for the same reason I don't talk to them about my gaming. It's a world that they don't have a clue about and they think I'm weird enough already.

13. Oh lord yes. And AC has made it even worse by turning Reno and Rude into the Keystone cops. So if Reno isn't angsting and falling apart in a fic (usually because of his traumatic childhood in the slums), he's acting like a complete idiot. The guy LIKES being a Turk. He LIKES it. He's not going to angst about it. And he's good at killing people.

[identity profile] klytaemnestra.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 01:25 am (UTC)(link)

1. Argh! That pairing.

3. Agreed. As a cosplayer I hate hearing the ass-kissing comments people leave Asian cosplayers as if they can do no wrong. It doesn't matter if the costume isn't accurate or if you can see black hair sticking out of their wig ... or better yet the character looks WHITE in the anime/manga/game but somehow an Asian person doing it is better than someone who actually looks like the character. And when someone shows me a picture of an Asian cosplayer doing a character I cosplay and I don't gush and proclaim my love for them and how I'm so inadequate in comparison they get pissy and say I'm jealous. No, I'm just tired of seeing ass-kissing of the Asians. My best friend is Korean. A few years ago in an anime con LJ community it somehow came out that she was Asian and someone replied back, 'Oh, you're Asian. THAT'S SO COOL!!!!!!!11One' Yeah. It's sad. While I find Asian people really insanely attractive, I'm happy being blonde. Asian people aren't some Elven race of great beauty and grace. They're people, like everyone else. x_x

9. A lot of people I know IRL know I cosplay. All of them thinks it's awesome.

13. Word.

i like this icon. shut up.

[identity profile] infringe.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
1. I swear they did KH2: FM+ just to cater to all the AkuRoku fangirls. Or rather, they did KH2: FM+ AND KH2 just to please them fangirls. :')

6. Amen.

11. LOL.

13. Word to your motherland. :/

[identity profile] sugarbunsah.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 02:21 am (UTC)(link)
4. I KNOW WHO YOU ARE.

[identity profile] insanepurin.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 02:40 am (UTC)(link)
5. YES. THAT WOULD BE THE GREATEST/SCARIEST THING EVER.

[identity profile] sanje.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
7. What anime is that? I've seen her before.

larvayne: pokemon; ho-oh (OTP: WE'RE ON TOP)

[personal profile] larvayne 2007-02-28 06:10 am (UTC)(link)
1. Field day, field day~ Eh. I'm not so into it as I was a long time before, but it's still a nice pairing to like. ♥;;;;

3. Eh? They do that? .___. It's kinda funny, 'cause when I was young people around me would say "I hate being Asian" and "I want to live in America"... The grass is always greener on the other side, ne?

8. I think it would taste sweet. Maybe?

[identity profile] hako-neko.livejournal.com 2007-02-28 10:08 am (UTC)(link)
1. It's sad that Fangirls can't admit that friends can be close like brothers and not have buttsex.

7. Well deserved recognition of this character. :3

[identity profile] xreddestinyx.livejournal.com 2007-03-02 12:30 am (UTC)(link)
7. Kino! I love her. She's a darlin'. :3

8. Me, too! XD

10... okay, first off, we don't know each other and I can almost promise you I've never read any of your work, so don't wank too hard here. You acknowledge the people who don't like your work and say you don't plan to change, and that just makes you come across as every other whiny diva who excuses poor work by saying it's a style choice. Suck isn't a style and the lukewarm reviews are proof enough.

Whether or not you should change anything is up to you. But honestly, in this day and age where even gentle criticism is met with a screaming horde of defensive "GTFO HATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1" white knights, you managed to get people calling you out. Lots of them. It's safe to assume that you're bad at what you love. For whatever reason, your work is not enjoyable to read, and you should consider finding a community that will give you tips, resources, and honest criticism instead of mincing words for fear of bruising your ego. It hurts, but you will grow, and better stories will flow with equal amounts of effort to what you're putting in now.

If you care enough to write a secret about it, you care enough to improve. Stop being part of the ~98% of fanfiction writers who can't spin a story worth a damn.
