Fucking SIGNED. Seriously, I’m glad I’m not the only one who’s reaction to this pairing is “DO NOT WANT”. Not to mention the fact that most of the people who ship it are the squeeing fangirls (yes, fanGIRLS) who seemingly only watch the show because Azula’s “OMFG HAWT LOL HAIRBRUSH YAY”. Come on, you guys- she’s the evil sociopathic villain- you’re not supposed to like her. And she’s only been in the show for what, eight episodes? And Ty Lee’s been seen even less than that (and trust me, it’s NOT because they’re too busy having off-screen sex). Sometimes (especially considering some of the places I hang out/lurk at here on LJ) it seems like I’m the only one who was immensely relieved when TBR and the betrayal scene made Ty Lee’s Azula-hate canon. I was hoping it would encourage the Army of Tyzula to calm the fuck down with their “LOL MEANT 2 B” and “TYZULA FTW YAY (LOL HAIR-DOWN AZULA)” whenever the two happened to appear in the same scene together (and for the record, Azula’s straight- that is just pesky canon getting in the way of your lesbian lovin’, though, so I can understand why so many of you ignore it). Seriously guys, it’s getting old; time to STFU already.
Ugh, sorry for the tl;dr, but I just absolutely loathe this pairing, and most of the people who ship it like it’s SRZ BZNZ. It’s just fucking creepy.
(… And if I weren't so late with this, they would come in droves and absolutely crucify me, I guarentee it.)
