122. My entire life I've always preferred/fangirled over/whatever the female characters in any book, TV show or movie, with only a few exceptions. Heroes is the one show where I absolutely CAN'T STAND most of the female characters. I'm thrilled that Angela's becoming a series regular, and I have hope for Monica and Elle (though she won't be around much longer I expect) but otherwise? I can't stand them. I can't speak for the fandom as a whole, but I can tell you right now that there's a good reason why the girls of Heroes get so much less love. The Heroes writers just can't seem to get the female characters right. It sucks, but it doesn't make me a misogynist for thinking Maya is the worst character ever and being bored to tears by Niki and Claire.
