1) Personal attacks are generally not allowed here.
2) People who come here choose to play--they don't find out they're here when they suddenly have 500 mice overrunning their journal.
3) The point of this place is not humiliation and mockery as a form of entertainment, but rather self-disclosure.
It's not "wank" that's wrong, it's holding people up for public mockery, generally behind their backs and without their consent, just because you don't like what they're saying or think they care too much. Sure this place is "wanky"--there are loads of arguments. But people don't come here for the express purpose of sitting around eating popcorn and trading recipes while pointing and laughing at other folks who haven't chosen to be here behind their backs.
Fandom Wank reminds me a lot of Jerry Springer, but people who go on Jerry Springer agree to it, get paid for it and generally know what they're getting into. Also, this place doesn't have pretensions of being the fandom police, out for great justice against sockpuppeters and...whatever. There are a LOT of differences but if you don't understand that holding people up for mockery without their express consent as a form of entertainment is immoral behaviour, of course you won't see them.
109, IT'S VERY SIMPLE!
