(Okay, sorry for sarcasm, but... it's like all those "lol guyz I dunno what 'slash' [or 'yaoi' or 'shipping' or other fan term du jour] means, someone tell me!" posts that waste time. It comes across as incredibly lazy when some newbie makes whiney posts about not understanding -- as though it's the rest of the fandom's fault -- instead of just, y'know, trying to find out like a competent adult. This isn't kindergarten, you don't get answers by asking the teacher unless you have already tried the library, the internet, and the textbook.)
