Even for a weekly manga, where the pressure of deadlines and things often force the authors and artists to simplify many of their designs, Naruto's art is just half-assed. He's too lazy to even have his assistants cut out screentone for Karin's hair, which is why when it was revealed that she had vomit-pink hair color, everyone was surprised and/or disgusted.
