I concur. It's especially bad when you're in an RPS fandom (which I am) and people start ranting and raving about their RL partner as 'that bitch', then go and write fic to pretty much the same effect. Yes, I ship Rich and James - but no NO NO to the character assassination of their fucking wives just to get them into bed.
