I ship House and Wilson. Though, I don't watch it for that or anything. I watch it for the plot. HouseWilson is just a little bonus.
I don't think it can't be about solving cases without shipping a pairing. However, I've seen some fans, and they ship like, everyone imaginable, and it's insane - and half of them don't even make sense, or they just base it off of one small conversation. So if that's what you're getting at, then yes, I completely agree. Though I don't think it's a problem to ship one or two pairings - as long as you don't obsess over it and talk about it all the time or watch it solely for that purpose.
