And here's how I can not ship it: I do not consider taking a bolt of lightning for her to be an ultimate display of love and general OTPness. I count it in with the culmination of his character's transition from "bad" to "good." He was performing a selfless action and he was also keeping her, a bystander, from being hurt by Azula, by his fight, by his family. I don't think it had much to do with his feelings for Katara - he would have done the same for Toph, Aang, Sokka and maybe even the Cabbage Vendor if he felt responsible enough for his family's destruction.
179. Sex isn't the ultimate goal of life. Are you even interested in sex right now, or are you just worried that you'll be an old "spinster?"
Anyway, that kind of fear is common. Don't worry about it.
182. That doesn't actually seem like much of a reason. Boyfriend != drunken parties/pointless dates. I mean, you do realize that you have some measure of control over your relationships, right? You can choose to date guys who want to stay at home and read manga with you, and it will probably make you happier if that's what you try to do instead of trying to fit into some preconcieved notion of whatever it is that boyfriends and girlfriends do.
That said, you don't need a boyfriend either. Just don't get it in your head that you can't have your boyfriend AND your fanfiction.
