Hmm, I could have phrased that secret better. It's more like I can't be bothered to go to all the trouble and take time away from fandom in order to actually land myself with one the way my friends want me to. If I do end up falling in love with someone I'd be happy to spend all that time with him, but right now I'm not in the mood to actively look the way my friends seem to think 'looking' is concerned.
I like the Real World in small doses, but I'm not going to go out of my comfort zone to get a boyfriend that wouldn't understand the shit I'm into. If I see someone I like, I'll know and THEN I'll start thinking about pursuing a relationship.
Otherwise, 'conventional' means of getting boyfriends? Too much time out of fandom for a broken heart? No thank you. Normal clubbing guys who wouldn't care about my hobbies? No fucking thank you. D:
