Seeing as how Batman debuted in 1939 and The Joker debuted in 1940 while Harley Quinn first appeared in TAS in 1992 and in the actual comicsverse in 1999, anyone shipping Joker/Harley Quinn is a Johnny-Come-Lately in a relative sense.
