ext_81845: penelope, my art/character (cocky)

101 I'm a moderate liberal, if that makes any difference to you people.

103 I'm not obligated to like your favorite cartoon. I think you people are the "faggots" for apparently failing to enjoy anything in the super robot genre besides TTGL. (Or any other fucking mecha series for that matter.) For the record, I only own the first dvd, and that's all I intend to buy.

I could write a similar secret about how everyone who couldn't get into Legend of Galactic Heroes is obviously a total ADD-addled moron, but I don't care if someone else doesn't like it because it's too long to fit on a normal hard drive, or too old or whatever. And the LOGH fandom is more desperately in need of fans than fucking TTGL. So fuck you.

108 I watched IT back when it came on tv, and I was also in elementary school. Even though my mom told me to go to bed, I hid behind the couch and watched it, terrified. For months I couldn't even use the bathroom without someone in there with me (even at home). When I took a shower my mom or a sibling had to be in there with me.

137 I fucking HATE that character designer. How the fuck is he making money? His designs are so bad.

139 I dunno, people kind of frown down upon Americans if they're too into comic books. There's a whole stereotype about "comic book geeks" and everything. I mean, it's considered okay for me to like Batman enough to have read it as a child and see a movie about it, but if I own a bunch of figures and toys and shit? Pariah time.

140 I don't know who that is but it looks like they don't know how to even iron the wrinkles out of their clothes before wearing them.

149 I always liked Cally! I thought she pulled the tough/cute thing off really well. But Rymer (I believe) said on a commentary track that she was originally supposed to die in season one, so I'm glad she at least lasted as long as she did. It's partly due to her character that I'm thoroughly convinced that BSG is basically a live-action real-type mecha anime, ala Macross.
