116. Let me guess. You're going to the misogyny place. It will not surprise you that I think you are dead wrong that any of this is evidence of FANDOM MISOGYNY OMG. I love House, but the fact remains that Cameron was written in such a way as to make me think TPTB wanted her to be hated. First of all, they gave her a fucking crush on House and she acted on it even after he treated her like crap. I know that it is considered "misogynist" nowadays in fandom to want female characters who aren't supposed to be totally bitchy and aren't warrior women to have backbones, but as a woman, I do not think a portrayal of a woman who is everything that the patriarchal ideal woman is and still loves a man and wants to be with him even after he's treated her worse than dirt is "feminist". Cuddy manages to be compassionate and even say no to House sometimes without being a fucking doormat. I like Cameron now, but in S1 and S2, he was annoying. For similar reasons, I agree that Wilson would be less popular if he were female. If Wilson were female he would be exactly the same doormat that Cameron is, only worse. However, this characteristic is less annoying in a man, because men don't grow up constantly being compared unfavourably to boys like him while being appalled at the shit they have to shovel, and women kind of like seeing a man have to go through the crap that we're expected to take without breaking a nail. However, I think that Chase? Would be INSANELY popular if he were female, provided of course that the actress was as hot as Jesse Spencer (because people are shallow) and that, just like Chase, the character still showed absolutely no sexual interest in House. The problem is, no network would ever allow that to happen. If Chase had been female, and had been just as unprincipled as Chase is, one of three things would have happened: the network would have forced her into a love interest role like Cameron and blunted her edge; the network would have made the abuse Chase went through as a child and the sexual exploration of his teens and twenties and the kink he was into all horrible trauma that they would have used to explain why she was like that, like Bela Talbot or Tasha Yar or any of a dozen other characters of this nature, none of whom were ever a tenth as awesome as they had the potential to be because the network cut them down to size; or she would have had to die, like Amber.
TL;DR: House fandom is not misogynistic but I kinda think the writers might be.

123. If you don't enjoy it, it's not a healthy relationship.
134. LOL yes.
136. UGH UGH UGH yes. Just tell her. My friends all know I won't read mpreg.
145. I don't know where the fic is, but you do know there are books, right?
161. I think you're far from alone, seriously, this is a secret?
165. My favourite "Jewish pride" fix on TV is Numb3rs, but Wilson and Cuddy are also awesome. :)
