127: I don't think the issue is that they're both guys, it's that they're both STRAIGHT guys. This is why they haven't hooked up. There are gay couples on prime time tv. Networks are no longer 'scared' to go there these days. Why can't people just be happy with the fact that House and Wilson are straight males with a very strong friendship? As far as I'm concerned, this has also been treated by the writers as the integral relationship to the show and specifically to House's life. Its importance is never underplayed. Just because they're not together romantically/sexually, the significance of their relationship is not diminished.

Now, I'm not against slash by any means, but within the realms of canon, you know? A strong friendship is just as good as a romantic relationship, you know.
