And it's not like every slash dominated fandom is against a certain pairing, even the canon het pairing or afraid to ship it (I know a lot of people like the het pairings in Reborn, maybe some don't like 27K because it's pretty stagnant and the author never really went anything far with it and it's already at Chapter 218, but no one is so against it that they wank or whatever). There's nothing for people to be disinterested in het pairing and not all slash for the sex. Hell, the relationship in canon (or the potential of awesome if they ever interacted) is usually the reason they slash them.
