106. I kind of understand how you feel. Not just about David Tennant but with a couple of people I admire. There is this small part of me that wishes I could mean something to them other than being a fan and even meeting them doesn't stop me from feeling a little sad about it. However, reality and fantasy are very different things and I just try to realise/remember that being friends with these people might not be as awesome as I think it might be. In fact, what if I have very little in common with my "heroes"? Plus, I've been in a situation where I've got into the inner-circle of someone I admire and it's just AWKWARD because you're always aware of being a fan and how it must look. It made me just as sad that I couldn't just let rip and fangirl in front of their friends in case I looked like a stalker or something.

Basically, I don't think you're weird. I think it's a normal human thing to go through.

117. You know what? The more I think about it the more I realise how right you are about this. I swear my favourite character (Sheppard) hasn't done anything of note this series and I'm still bitter about Weir leaving. The only thing I'm really enjoying about season 5 is Woolsey's character arc, and I say that as someone who has hated that man since his SG1 days!
