117. There are some original character designs out there, but I agree in saying that most of the stuff today is generic crap art. However, people love the generic stuff, so that's what the artist's produce. It's sad, really.

I agree in saying that there should be more female characters in the series, but there's nothing really wrong with the slash or having most of the countries represented in the series personified as males.
