157. I say do it anyway. I've seen some amazing african-american cosplayers! You just have to make sure everything's good quality, and you'll blow any detractors right out of the park. (Anyone who would still complain about you would be a jerk...to put it nicely.)
164. I prefer the book version because C.S. Lewis didn't feel the need to have romantic subplots to make people interested in his stories. :P Although there's probably some nostalgia there, sure, and I enjoy the movies, but for goodness sakes they're not masterpieces. (Besides, plenty of the characters had issues in the books. I like the subplot they had about Susan and Peter growing up, though.)
