You know, I've never played Half-Life either and I've always thought Gordon Freeman had a really interesting character design. And was pretty good looking.

And haha, me too in regards to Halo! XD I'm not really interested in playing Halo (FPS is not my type of thing, usually), but Half-Life sounds really interesting from what I've heard and I'd totally try it out if I a) had a PC to run it on and b)...didn't get scared so easily. D:
