Funny that you call out My Shot as the self congratulatory one. That was sort of the point. It was Hamilton who thinks...a bit much of himself singing about himself.

I watched Hamilton when it came out on Dinsey+ last year. Couldn't make it through forty minutes. Not for any political reasons, just found it very boring. I felt like I was watching a very different play from everyone else.

I watched it with friends because they wanted to watch it. LMM's singing is TERRIBLE omg.

I didn't get a lot of what was going on because I am not American, but I came away from it thinking everyone was an asshole.

And the king had the only good songs.

We are going to harvest our green beans. Not sure what we will be making to eat with them yet. Other than that, not doing much except avoiding the heat.

Going in order of ones I've personally seen live first:

Joseph, Phantom, Man of La Mancha, Miss Saigon

And ones I haven't seen in person yet:

Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita

A lot of them were assholes. I think Angelica and Eliza probably come out the best.

You didn't enjoy Burr's songs? Maybe it is just because I loved Leslie Odom Jr' performance, but his songs were my favorite. He was such a great performer.

I also loved Satisfied, but that was more for the visuals in the recorded version.

I think a lot of the music is not my 'type' to enjoy. I don't think anyone but LMM sang poorly, I just didn't really like the style of rap-sing.

The Lion King, which I saw on Broadway and cried every time I heard The Circle of Life.

I also really like Hamilton. Growing up, I loved Phantom of the Opera but as much now (I still enjoy it).
