The way I've heard Jensen kind of talk around the issue in interviews, it sounds like JP probably has a bit of an anger problem. (I was also told he had an anger problem by someone who spent a LOT of time around him during SPN's earlier seasons, though my source chalked it up to roid rage.)

I will say that JP was kind to me when I was on the show as a body double for one of the day players, though. He chatted with me when usually leads would've ignored me, and he was friendly and not sleezy.

I don't think he's the overt asshole a lot of people are imagining he is, though he does seem to be letting his issues get the better of him, which isn't cool, especially when you have more power than the people you're raging at.
