NS!1: When you grow up, sweetie, you will understand that adults have the ability to think a scenario might be awesome without secretly inserting THEMSELVES into it. If I ship those two (and I'm not saying I do; I am late to the party as always and have not yet seen HSM), it's because I think they'd be good together. The fact that I am old enough to be their mother has nothing to do with it. An adult can think two younger people would be good together without wanting to bang either party. In fact, people frequently think that their own children would do well with this or that romantic partner, without wanting to bang their own children (EW), although hopefully they have the good sense to not interfere unless something dangerous is happening. It's no weirder for adults to ship teenagers than it is for people in their teens and 20s to ship Adama/Roslin or Pellew/Edrington or John/Missouri (please tell me somebody else ships this; fuck Bela, I want HER back) or Picard/Crusher (as long as it's Bev--Wesley would be too gross).

168. Are you happy? I don't mean schadenfreude, I mean actually happy. If so, then GREAT. If not, then it doesn't matter who's laughing at who, you're still not happy. Some of those people are happy. Some of them aren't. What matters is if they are satisfied with their lives. A lot of people might think MY life is pretty pathetic, but they don't have to live it and I wouldn't trade places with any of them.

165. Indeed, he is not that awesome. He is a pretty, charismatic man. I have a lot of his music and I don't think he's that great a singer; on the other hand I do like his acting. But as celebs go, he's far from the most awesome evar.

164. You too? (I almost thought I knew who wrote this, till you said you'd miss him--the person I thought had written it wishes he'd DIAF. But then, she doesn't watch SPN any more.) I could stand to see him save the day less often. His knowledge is great, but Sam needs to put his Stanford research skills to use and do some of his own.

157. ...is RDJ in blackface? @_@;;;;

149. ...that's adorable.

148. Children have whack sexual fantasies. I did too and several friends of mine and I discussed it and we have come to the conclusion that anything that got you off before you were old enough to understand what sex was that does not also get you off now? Doesn't count.

139. It would be nice if I could fix the programming in my brain :) Mostly I like my personality but there's a few glitches I'd like to get rid of.

130. Hee! He is hotter singing.

112. They kind of WERE. (Actually, I really hate Lee/Kara, but I totally ship OldSkool Apollo/Starbuck. Lee/Dee and Sam/Kara, plz.)

108. For me it's Robert Lindsay. Any time, any place, any position.

104. If there is a point you missed I never found it either.

103. OK, confession time. I read the WATCHMEN when it first came out. I was like 21 or something. And I HATED the Comedian. HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE. He was an evil sadistic misogynistic raping bastard and I thought HE DESERVED WHAT HE GOT. OMG SO MUCH HATE. I am so disturbed that he has been cast as the Comedian. Because I've seen the previews and HE TURNS ME ON (like always). AND I DO NOT WANT TO FIND THAT DISGUSTING SACK OF SHIT CHARACTER HOT. DO. NOT. WANT. (...but holy fuck, I do...) So. YEAH I GET IT.
