Are epilogues a requirement for a bildungsroman? Harry Potter certainly fits the genre, but I think Harry had enough "growing up" for this to be true even Deathly Hallows ended at its penultimate chapter.

Oh, and my thoughts on the epilogue for the record: Meh.
