151, Garak/Bashir and Ziyal: Yes! This is exactly how I feel. I can't hate Ziyal because I find her an amazing, wonderful character. I actually really really wish they hadn't killed her off, because there was something so cool about a Cardassian/Bajoran character and how she interacted with both of her planets of origin and with Kira and Dukat. And I could totally see how she had a crush on Garak, and how he would be glad to hang out with another Cardassian, even if she was almost a child as far as he was concerned. But on the other hand, Garak/Bashir! ♥ And I could tell the writers were trying to keep them apart...

I'm tempted to 'ship Kira/Ziyal so Garak is free, but then I sort of think of Kira as Ziyal's big sister, so I don't know if that works.

*sigh* Oh Trek, why did you have to keep killing off the cool women, and not letting us have any canon slash?
