The love interest is the alien equivalent of intersex. Outside of fiction-land, some intersex people who identify as binary male or female consider themselves trans, but some don't. There's not really a consensus, and the fact that she's an alien just makes it messier.

F/transF is F/F. I strongly disagree with you in that respect. At the same time, I do not think that you can say, in general, across all cases, that omegaverse / futanari / girl penis f/f stuff is just the same as F/trans!F either. They're partially but not entirely overlapping things.

yeah I'm pretty sure that most readers of f/f would prefer to have some foreknowledge that a penis would be involved, because a lot of us go to f/f stories specifically to NOT have a penis involved

Even if there really should have been an indication that a penis would be involved to let folks who don't want penis in their f/f stories know about it beforehand, F/transF is still f/f. What you've said here is like saying "it's not a truck, it's an F-150." It's just a subset of the larger set, not a completely different genre

I understand the frustration at people who don't get it and possibly just refuse to do so after looking at all the facts, but insults and hostility aren't going to get them over to your side.
