3. The Dark Crystal! Omg. That movie rocked my world for so long...I used to watch it almost every week. It scared me and I loved it and I used to really want to be the girl, because she had wings.

1) My youngest nephew was 18 months old when that show came out, and he LOVED Blue's Clues. So when I'd babysit him mornings before college classes, I'd watch it with him. I've had the hots for him since. C'mon, Steve was cute! And still is! Makes good music, too. >_>

11) Have you ever spoken with any transgender support groups or looked for something like that in your community/area? I've heard similar things from people I know who are transgendered, and many have expressed similar sentiments. I know I can't imagine how hard that must be for you, but there may well be others who can understand.

13) Whippersnapper. >:/ Honestly, i know people in fandom who're 50+, and knowing people in fandom that're like 14 weirds me out worse than the others. That may be because I'm over 25....

11. My partner is in the same boat as you are (as am I, to an extent.). I have, and so has he, in all likelyhood, been frustrated by such people. So you're definately not alone in it.

14. Don't feel bad. Most anime actually SUCK and people only like it for "teh purdy bishieslololol." Some series get more attention than they really deserve. Eva is awesome though. :D

15. If the RP is a pretty active one, it can tend to take up a lot of time and ... consume your life to a certain extent. Which is a little bit pathetic, but I admit to this happening to me. I love RPing, but I know that anyone who isn't in the game really isn't going to care, so I try not to discuss it too much in my personal journal. (I actually have a separate journal for RP stuff because I'm a weirdo, but I don't use it as much as I should.) But... if this is referring to people ranting on about RP in their personal journal, I do have to say that it isn't your place to determine what they talk about in their own journal. (And I should really practice what I preach.) You could just defriend them, right? Though I don't know, maybe it's a situation where it wouldn't be that easy. If the person is ranting to you about RP in AIM, that's a different story and you should probably let them know that they should tone it down a little.

9. Ehehe. Yeah. Could have written it myself. Though I also tend to jump way off into the far side of the spectrum with some of my pairings which include mind control and non-con stuff. I like a little variety with my yaoi.

10. How rude of them. About a year ago at an anime con I was selling art prints and some girl and her boyfriend walked up to my art table and started flipping through my prints and she turns to her boyfriend and is all, 'Yeah, I don't like her art, her men are too pretty.' right in front of me. Great, move along if you don't like my stuff but don't be an insulting bitch because it doesn't suit your personal tastes. I wish I could say something to help, but I do understand where you're coming from at least to an extent. Art in itself can be a difficult thing at times, the last thing anyone needs is some stupid cunt insulting it because they don't personally like it.

11. I want to say I know who this is ... and if so, yeah that stuff about the yaoi fangirls wanting to be gay boys instead of lesbians really irks me. I have a lot of transgendered friends and doing it because it is trendy is not cool. Do you realize what some transgendered people have to go through mentally? It's not some stupid fantasy of, 'OMG, we need to be hot gay boys instead of girls.'

13. I think I'm weirded out more by 12 year old girls leaving constructive well thought out comments on my yaoi art in comparison to the rabid fangirling I get from older fans.

8. FUKKEN SIGNED. I am just so, so tired of one shots and drabbles and 'poetic' mood pieces--with only a few exceptions, they all just look so much the same. But getting away from this type of fic =/= writing badfic! It's just PLOT! Actual PLOT! And original ideas! And real humor mixed in with some seriousness and sadness and darkness, rather than either stupid crackfic OR soppy angstfic. Doesn't anyone just want to tell a rousing good story any more? YOU SHOULD WRITE IT, AND BE UNASHAMED. /rant

11. I'm in the same boat as you (although leaning towards androgynous bisexual male). Sometimes, I just wish I could slap people for trivialising what I'm going through, as if it's some sort of play-acting or something. Just remember you're not alone, as others have stated.

13. I feel surprised if someone's the same age as me ): Older people in fandom don't freak me out, just that there's some people in fandom who're the same age as me.

9. Although I love shorter-seme taller-uke pairings, I agree with this secret otherwise. Break the 'rules', people! Pairings shouldn't be dependent on occupation or whatever, just, uhh, gay it up?!

11. I'm a day late to this party, but, you know, I share nearly the same feelings. Although my sexual orientation is different, I also feel that, well, I was born incorrectly... and I've honestly come close to harming people because of the fact that they would constantly call me "she" or "her".

But, you know, the reason I feel comfortable with saying this type'a thing openly is because I kind of really searched myself. If you understand and accept yourself, it will make it easier for others to do so. It also will help you not feel so bad when others do not understand... or act all trendy, like, yea, most yaoi fangirls.

Surgery isn't the only option, either. Whoever you are... well, look into other things. There are ways to make yourself comfortable, and ways to be who you feel you are, without going to such lengths.

OMGsh! I had a huge crush on Steve too! I even bought the Blue's Clues CD-Rom games, because he was on them. I pretended I just liked them because they were cute. I like alot of things just because they are cute, nobody was the wiser. LoL.
