Oh gosh yes. I will not spoil it since there are clearly some people in this thread who haven't seen season 2 yet, but the stuff in there between him and Kaede (and the rest of their family in the process) was just like... holy crap this show is so real despite the ridiculous premise, so well written and directed, and Hiroaki's voice acting is just perfect for Kotetsu's quiet moments as well as all the goofy moments.

It still cracks me up years later that the creators assumed the show would have no female fans because "Kotetsu isn't the kind of character girls like, the beard is the kiss of death for fangirls". ...Oops? :D
