I find female characters easier to identify with. So when all the lead charas are male, genderswapping them helps.

I saw said shitstorm and it was fucking hilarious, but that's the problem- she takes everything too seriously. She's not a bad person, but some of the shit she says/does is really off the wall and snippy.

As far as shipping- yeah, some of the snake/otacon people are... um, dedicated, but she looks like she'll snap your throat if you so much as disagree with her pairing; even if you say something like 'not into the incest, thx', you get a reply like 'omfg you don't understand their closenessssss' or someshit. Just not my cuppa.
