I think Jensen Ackles seems completely ordinary in pretty much every way, aside from being good-looking and a decent actor.

All the crazy "He's fat", "He's a douchebag because he SMOKES ZOMG", "Danneel is a HOOR" stuff strikes me as people making a huge deal out of really small stuff. And most of it seems to come from the people who like JP better, so I don't even know why they're bothering to think so hard about JA in the first place.

SPN fandom is weird in a lot of ways, but that's the one I can never quite get a handle on.
