For me, it's hard to get mad at Sisko fans for this when DS9 invites the comparison early on. Sisko is positioned from the start as a sort of not-Picard and you also have stuff like the Q episode that makes the comparison really explicit. It's not my favorite part of the show really, but it's definitely there.

Given how important Picard is to Sisco's story, it is a little hard to talk about who Sisco is without bringing Picard into it at least a little.

Agreed with the sentiment - if an artist wants to sell their art they need to produce content and treat their customers well.

Also ironic in that many artists who do this probably complain about the evils of capitalism on a socieyal level while not doing what they want big companies do - treat their customers well.

However, I see that note on the side and now I'm 50/50 on whether OP is a troll.
