My partner is angling for kids in the future and I absolutely can't stand them. Any time we see unruly kids while we're out I kind of do the game show presenter hands towards them and go "YOU WANT THIS? THIS? ARE YOU SURE?"

Props to you for handling them though, I'm sure you did an amazing job. I worked in elderly care for years but children scare me like nothing else.
