I understand why people feel this way but...I guess I still have a great deal of affection and/sympathy for the child who watched and loved stuff. I remember what made me happy about it, and so not feeling that way now means I can either respect that (and love that I AM different enough to grow past it) and find a way to get some semblance of that joy back.

Really, it's confirmed that that's the case? Usually a production is not going give that much of a shit.

I just like the connection people made about the rebel pilot colors and the prison colors, and I don't know if it was intentional, but if so callbacks like that are the best.

I likewise would like some citation on this, because in a world where the 501st/Rebel Legion are frequently tapped for official Disney business, I have a hard time believing that anything is done to fuck over cosplayers. Now, if the uniforms look uncomfortable that doesn't mean they are...and this is being marketed to a group that routinely wears head-to-toe ABS plastic in Atlanta in August. I have, shall we say, doubts.
