Many of Liu Kang's decisions for the new timeline are questionable. Scorpion,Tarkat, the death of Smoke's family, etc. There's plenty of dialogue where he's called out by the other characters.

That being said, Harumi seems better off and I like that she's an actual character instead of just Scorpion's tragic backstory. Maybe Hanzo will have a better life this way?
