I don't mind talking if they are still paying attention. But if they keep missing stuff because they distract themselves by talking it gets so frustrating.

It's one of the reasons why most reactions I watch are of subbed anime or reactions with subtitles on; I feel like having the text there helps them keep track of what's going on even when they talk.
