Same, I read this secret as referencing the drama that comes up in some fandoms between younger fans (generally teens and 20s, depends on fandom what the usual ages of the fans are) and older fans who have been in the fandom longer. Such as disagreement with previously popular fanon, new fandom OTPs, anti-ship drama, and that sort of thing. This is a very general take, I don't intend for it to apply to every person and situation of course. But it is a common dynamic in a number of fandoms, and that's where my mind went first when I read the secret.
