Fanfic isn't too popular at all for Cowboy Bebop. Bit sad because there is a ton opportunities for fic.

Makes me think of this one post about how if you look at RWBY fix fic, a lot of it takes the “magic high school” stuff from the first two seasons and just keeps following all the standard tropes for it. Regardless of execution, RWBY at least had the courage to destroy the school.
