What are some narrative choices you hate or like? Maybe something other than just "I really hate/like 1st person POV" this time though?

Inspired by my picking up the No sleep Podcast again after some year of pausing:

I hate it when horror stories narrated in first person in which the protagonist dies are written in past tense. Unless it's explicitly a plot point that it's the ghost of the character narrating, I just think it's a really dumb and jarring decision.

As for something I like: I really love outsider POV stories. Mainly for fanfic because it works best there but I love it and wish there was more of it.

As the mod of the Nosleep Podcast subreddit, I feel you. Though, "this person was dead all along" as a plot twist is something I dislike more.

I also love outsider POVs for fics.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best.

Just to clarify - it's my intention to make all the secrets left in this thread, so even if they're not marked claimed, they will be made. I'll monitor this thread until tomorrow's secret post goes up, so feel free to leave your comments until then!
