Raoul is a surprisingly tricky role, I think! It's really easy to slide too far into asshole or the other way into floppy. Apart from being too old compared to Emmy Rossum, I think this was one role the movie did really well, with Patrick Wilson.

Yeah, his death hit me, too. So much of his work was such a big part of my childhood.

I remember a post Scott Weinger made shortly after Robin's death where he quoted from that movie while showing a photo of the Genie nad Aladdin together - that definitely had me shedding a few tears.

I never saw "Everybody Hates Chris", so it threw me for a loop when I learned he played Chris on that show :p.

I fully agree with you on finding him attractive, but yeah, in your case, I totally get where you'd also feel kinda weird about that attraction, too.
